Bummer!

I just learned that Domino Magazine will be distributing their LAST issue in March 09. This is a huge bummer because I typically jump for joy when I see it in my mailbox. Pisser!

1-year Anniversary of LaNa!

This past Sunday marked one full year of home ownership for me...and what a fun-filled year it has been! I've done a lot of work on the house since last January - new roof, new sewer, new sidewalks, updated bathroom, basement supports, fresh walls of paint, and a lot of "curb appeal." I'm finding that the to-do list of a homeowner is never ending!!

To celebrate my year anniversary at LaNa I finally purchased a washing machine! Enjoy the pics!

I've been MIA....

Hello,

I'm just realizing this is my first post in almost 2 months. Definitely not my intention, but I've been mourning the loss of my beloved sister, Robyn. She passed away after complications associated with cystic fibrosis. My family is trying to figure out a new "normal" and are continuing to be strong for my niece Lola who is just 3. Robyn is sorely missed by all friends and family, but will live on through her legacy - Lola - and through memories of all those whom loved her. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of blogging as I think it will be a welcomed distraction...more to come soon....
